Wagle Chartering AS

Wagle Chartering AS was founded 1st of October 2003, as a part of the "Wagle Group.” We carry on the traditions of our mother company Messrs Rolf Wagle A/S, founded in 1936. This includes conventional chartering, operation and agency activities. Our main focus today is drycargo-chartering for our exclusive vessels trading in Europe. Though, we also do competitive brokering for our direct charterers, including full European and Trans-Atlantic trade.

As drycargo brokers, we are serving a substantial number of companies both in Norway and abroad. During 2008 we were handling in excess of 1.200.000 mtons of different cargoes - mostly various kinds of meals and pellets, minerals, steels, aluminium and fertilizers. Our goal is long term business relations. Thus a large part of above quantity has always been fixed on contracts.

Wagle Chartering AS is today exclusively handling chartering for 17 conventional vessels sized 1.000 - 3.500 dwcc. They are all boxed/boxlike singledeckers, able to load almost any kind of drycargo. Please note that we also have two vessels fitted with an excavator for selfloading and/or selfdischarging operation. Furthermore we have close relations to our mother company Messrs Rolf Wagle A/S, who are doing chartering for their 4 own self handling vessels, sized 1.850 - 4.500 dwcc.
